LACTATION
Jennifer is proud to offer lactation services at Beauty Lounge Mount Washington. Jennifer is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and certified lactation counselor with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In addition to Beauty Lounge Mount Washington, Jennifer currently practices as a pediatric provider at a private pediatric office in Bardstown.
Initial Appointment
At your initial lactation appointment, Jennifer will gather medical history of both mom and baby, evaluate mom and babe, and provide hands on instruction to assist with lactation and nursing. Before and after infant weights may also be obtained. Jennifer is a firm believer in fed is best and will work with new parents and infants to develop a plan that is safe and healthy for the new mom's mental and physical health as well as the infant.
